Yes, we’re still talking about our amazing trip to England. We had such a good time, that plans to go again early next year are on the table. Stay tuned, lovelies. 

Besides taking in the wonderful sights and smells of one of the world’s coolest countries, and in addition to making new friends in jolly old England, we tried and bought a LOT of amazing products. Like other lists, this could exceed 30 items or more. But we follow our own rules (usually) and will keep this list to a goodly 10. 

The Top 10 Products We Found in England!

1. Vego. We were warned that Vego hazelnut chocolate bars were addictive. The warning was accurate. We. Want. More! 

2. Alpro. This ubiquitous soy yogurt is yummy by itself or atop cereal.  We liked Alpro.

3. JOLLYUM. This non-dairy ice cream was fabulously light and not too sweet. JOLLYUM comes in pints or little personal sized containers. 

4. Terre à Terre Smoked Tomatoes. These remarkably savory sun-dried tomatoes offer a wonderfully smokiness to your eager palate. We ended up buying and bringing back two jars of these bad boys. 

 

5. Vegusto. Ummmm, yeah. This company needs to sell their amazing cheeses and sausages in the U.S. of A. How do you say “please” in Swiss German? Vegusto, we need you! 

6. Equinox Kombucha. Another great product that we wish was available in the US. Equinox is lighter and fruitier than many kombuchas that we’ve tried. 

7. Hoots. With a name like Hoots how bad can their crisps be? 

8. Inspiral Kale Chips. Made from the same folks who own the Inspiral Cafe in Camden Town, these chips are savory and not dry like some other brands can be. 

9. Orzo Coffee. Orzo barley coffees are unusual… in a good way. They’re light and healthier than the caffeine-laden beverages that many over-consume.  

10. Space Bar. Wheaty makes delicious meat alternatives. Space Bar is the quintessential smoky/meaty vegan snack! 

So, there you have our humble little list. If, or more likely, when we return to England next year, we’ll post more lists of other yummy products we encounter. And we’ll smuggle them back as we did with this lot!
