So, today was our third day of juicing. So far, so…okay? Headaches for me. Tummy cramps for Artie. However, we’re getting through it, despite cravings for a Streamliner burger and Tings (vegan Cheez Doodles for those who don’t know).
To top of the day of sipping on liquified fruits and veggies, Artie went to Natural Way Cafe in Fair Lawn, NJ and picked a couple of “shots” of “Kiwi Twister” and “Fruits & Veggie Blend.” Yum Yum Yum! We enjoyed them while taking a detour through Rockland County, NY and the Tappan Zee Bridge to get back to NYC and The Bronx. It definitely made the drive home better.
By the way, I highly recommend Natural Way Cafe if you’re ever in Bergen County, NJ. It’s a small shop with great holistic and green products, fresh juices and delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free snacks and meals.
